If you are receiving error messages in your game with “.cpp” in them, this means that somehow, your data has become corrupted and you will no longer be able to play from that saved game.
If this happens, it is best to do a full uninstall of the game to prevent any further corruption. Delete the Championship Manager 01-02 folder from your hard drive after executing the Uninstall program from the disk.

To reduce the likelihood of this happening again, please ensure that you follow these instructions before you reinstall the game:

1)Run a scandisk and a defrag of your system to ensure your computer is in the best possible condition for installation.

2) Make sure any anti-virus program is disabled before installation of the
game as this can cause corrupt data.

3)If you are running windows 98/95 press CTRL+ALT+DEL once to bring up the Close Program dialogue box. This will list all your current applications active on your system. Before you play the game, all you should have running is Explorer and Systray. Press “END TASK” for any other programs active. NOTE: each time you restart your computer these programs will reappear so you have to keep on doing this each time.
