Hitman: Blood money - Setting Xbox360 to Pal-60

Hitman: Bloodmoney does not support PAL50 - how do I set it to PAL60?

The game requires to play in Pal-60 mode. In order to set your Xbox 360 to Pal-60, please choose the instructions that match your TV below.

My Xbox 360 console says Hitman: Bloodmoney doesn't support PAL 50 - I'm using a standard definition TV - what do I do?


  • In the Xbox 360 Dashboard, select the System blade

  • Select Console Settings and press A

  • Select Display and press A

  • Select PAL Settings and press A

  • Select PAL-60 and press A

  • When prompted if you want to keep these new settings, confirm and press A.

*Note that some older TV sets do not support PAL-60. If you are in doubt consult your TV manufacturer.


My Xbox 360 console says Hitman: Bloodmoney doesn't support PAL 50 - I'm using a High Definition TV - what do I do?


  • Turn off your Xbox 360 console

  • Find the High Definition switch on your High Definition AV lead - it's on the block that plugs into the back of the console - and switch this to Standard Definition

  • Turn your Xbox 360 back on

  • In the Xbox 360 Dashboard, select the System blade

  • Select Console Settings and press A

  • Select Display and press A

  • Select PAL Settings and press A

  • Select PAL-60 and press A

  • When prompted if you want to keep these new settings, confirm and press A

  • Switch your 360 off again, and switch your AV lead back to High Definition




My Xbox 360 console says Hitman: Bloodmoney doesn't support PAL 50 - I'm using a VGA lead - what do I do?


  • Turn off your Xbox 360 console

  • Find the original AV cable that came with your Xbox 360, and use this to plug your console into a standard definition television

  • Turn your Xbox 360 back on

  • In the Xbox 360 Dashboard, select the System blade

  • Select Console Settings and press A

  • Select Display and press A

  • Select PAL Settings and press A

  • Select PAL-60 and press A

  • When prompted if you want to keep these new settings, confirm and press A

  • Switch your 360 off again, and plug it back into your monitor with the VGA lead

What is your experience of Virtual CD/DVD drives?

I have a couple of virtual drives that I use all the time.

I have one installed but have never used it.
